Best Steak Restaurants Cardiff
I love food! Steak isn’t always my first choice when dining out or picking off menus, but it feels like a treat when it’s done correctly. Whether it’s time with friends, family, your partner or guests, fill the void and dig into the best steakhouses in Wales.
What’s your favourite steak?
After looking through these steak restaurants, do you know what you want to order? For me, it’s all about the details. Do I want a jacket potato, dauphinoise potatoes, chunky chips or sweet potato fries? I know the most popular steak sauce is Peppercorn, but I love Diane or Béarnaise. There’s also a red wine jus, blue cheese, chimichurri, salsa Verde or a simple garlic butter.
Then there are the sides. Grilled sweetcorn, asparagus, garlic green beans, a fresh garden salad, mushrooms, vine tomatoes or crispy onion rings. You could even go American with a creamy mac and cheese.
