We decided to try their legendary Adelphi Menu, and it was a decision we didn’t regret. The meal, which we (four adults) eagerly awaited after a day of tours exploring Jersey Zoo and Mont Orgueil Castle, was a satisfying and delicious experience.

What We Ordered

Let’s start with the chicken burger, chips, and slaw. Juicy and flavourful, this classic pub dish was done to perfection. The chips? Crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside – just how they should be! The chicken was moist, with a delicious crunch from the breadcrumbs. This dish was a delightful choice.

I ate the chicken katsu curry. I nearly didn’t order this, as I love salad or vegetables with each meal, but it came with mange tout and pak choi – my favourite. The curry was rich and aromatic, with a lush crunch on the chicken, and the fragrant jasmine rice balanced the meal beautifully. I scraped the plate for the last drops.

Both the boys fancied a bit of sizzle, so they chose the beef skewers. Juicy chunks of beef, grilled to smoky perfection, with a chilli sauce to pour over, were served with chips and a fresh salad. It was a protein-packed dream that felt both hearty and indulgent.

And let’s not forget a cheeky side or two. The cheesy garlic bread – a bit of stodge to fill empty bellies with gooey, cheesy, garlicky goodness. The onion rings were coated in a light, golden batter, striking the perfect balance between crisp and tender, with a satisfying bite and a subtle sweetness from the onions.

A Friendly Atmosphere

The Adelphi Lounge is more than just a pub. Whether you’re winding down after a day exploring Jersey’s attractions or looking for a laid-back spot to hang out with friends, this place delivers.

Located within easy walking distance of many key sights, the pub’s vibe is casual and welcoming – just what you’d expect from a Randalls gem. The staff are attentive, and there’s a real sense of a lively community here.

Why You Should Visit

If you’re in Jersey and searching for an authentic, no-fuss food experience, The Adelphi Lounge Jersey is where it’s at. With generous portions and a prime location, this spot is a crowd-pleaser. So, make it part of your itinerary next time you’re in Jersey.
