Aromas Restaurant Jersey Review

We kicked off our evening with a bottle of red (him) and bubbly Prosecco (me) – because why not? Both of us have huge appetites; we can eat! But watching the dishes leave the kitchen, we knew that having a starter would be too much.

I’d be a regular if I were a local! I assure you that you will not find a better place to eat. It’s proper home-cooked food that is absolutely delicious. It’s also well-priced and plentiful.

Aromas Jersey Menu

One of the most appealing aspects of Aromas menu is its diversity. Choosing what to order was a delightful challenge. Whether you’re a seafood enthusiast, a meat lover, or a vegetarian, there’s a dish that will satisfy your taste buds.

Grilled Fish Platter

Firstly, it is presented beautifully. This platter was laden with succulent salmon, tender monkfish, delicate sole, and king prawn – all perfectly cooked – plus plump mussels served with a luscious spinach and lemon butter. The fish melted in the mouth. If you’re a seafood lover, this is a must-try.

Sizzling Beef and King Prawn Sizzler

The sizzler arrived at our table with an aromatic cloud of deliciousness. It is a showpiece; all eyes in the restaurant follow the smoky plate to your table. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the king prawns were juicy, and the mixed vegetables added a delightful crunch. The black bean sauce tied everything together with its rich, savoury notes, and the spiced rice was the perfect accompaniment. This is the dish for you if you’re a fan of bold, punchy flavours.

Sides to Savour

All dishes at Aromas come with homemade chips, a side of vegetables, and baby potatoes – served family style. If you’ve got a big appetite, you’ll be in heaven. Just a heads-up, though – if you’re planning on starters or desserts, you might want to pace yourself. The portions are generous, and we found ourselves deliciously stuffed.

Something for Everyone

The early bird menu is a fantastic deal for those watching their wallets – two courses for £22.50 or three courses for £25, available from 6pm to 7pm. It’s a great way to enjoy a fabulous meal without breaking the bank.

Book Your Table Now!

In a nutshell, our meal at Aromas Jersey was an absolute delight. The food was beautiful, the atmosphere was intimate and cosy, and the service was top-notch. Just remember, it’s a small restaurant, so booking is a must to avoid disappointment.

So, what are you waiting for? Treat yourself to an unforgettable dining experience at Aromas in Jersey.
