We Are Cardiff is a popular blog page about the city, its people and its culture. They have launched a series, inviting people to write Letters from Cardiff in Lockdown. Each piece from the contributors showcases their perspective on how COVID-19 has impacted them, as long as you don’t use the word unprecedented.
What a week I have had! For January, I have had an immensely busy few weeks, I am looking forward to some peace and quiet in February – but I am sure something will pop up to keep me away from my leisure time. Here’s a reflection on my week, featuring Cardiff Hoteliers Ball, an interview and Tanya Whitebits.
Earlier this year I met Laurabeth the owner of What She Blogged at a Bloggers Meet Brands event. We clicked immediately and had many things in common – other than blogging. Of course, we both hail from Wales, though from opposite ends of the country. And, we both have a passion for marketing. Although, she chose to go into the industry by studying a BA in Professional Writing and Media. Whereas, I have been lucky for my career to go in that direction.
