Years ago, I gave up buying “cheap” products, preferring sterling silver or white gold so that they would last longer. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a piece that tarnishes quickly. I’m also clumsy and would find it heartbreaking for the clasp to snap or lose something that has cost a lot of money.
So, I’ve never been one to wear a lot of jewellery. You’ll always see me with my smartwatch, diligently counting my daily steps. Maybe a bracelet, a ring or two, earrings, and a necklace. My jewellery also has to be delicate. I’m not one to wear chunky pieces. It needs to be classic, simple and easy to wear, which led me to Lovelox and their personalised silver locket. It is exciting that you can get classy jewellery personalised for you – which is affordable!
Make It Personal To You
The beauty of a Lovelox heart locket is that it is totally personalised. You can even order it in yellow gold or rose gold if you prefer these to sterling silver.
There’s even a choice of fonts for the engraving so you can customise the final look. I did consider having my name on it. If you’ve grown up with an unusual name, like me, it’s exciting when you can get a personalised name necklace. I played around with a few different Welsh words and phrases, but these tend to be a bit long, so I settled on My Family, as you only get a maximum of 18 letters, including spaces.
You can upload one or two photographs on the inside of the locket itself. I chose one of my four-pawed sidekick, Ivan the Irresistible, and the other of myself and my boyfriend Michael on a recent trip to the Rhossili Sunflower Field. You can move around the photos and crop them if you need to, ensuring they are displayed perfectly. I’d recommend choosing bright, clear images so they can easily be seen when printed.
The locket and standard length chain (16-18 inches) is £60. However, if you want a longer chain (20-24 inches) is an extra £4. Adding the engraving is £7, one image is £9, and the additional is £4. This means that my affordable locket costs £80 in total, but the top price is £84. A small delivery fee of £4.94 is applied at the checkout.
Don’t want a heart shape? No problem! There’s round, diamond set, tree of life designs, oval, zodiac, filigree and mother of pearl.

The website is straightforward to navigate. From ordering to delivery, the process was seamless. The items are shipped to your home. I got regular – but not annoying – updates on when I should expect the delivery. In fact, it only took three days to arrive!

What do I think?
