Ad | When Wolf and Gypsy Jewellery reached out to me, wanting to send me a necklace, how could I say no? I have always preferred delicate style pieces and vintage designer vintage jewellery. What impressed me the most about the brand is the affordable price of the jewellery and its strong ethical values.
I love jewellery and rarely take off my earrings, watch and rings. It needs to be classic, simple and easy to wear. Years ago, I gave up buying “cheap” products, preferring sterling silver or gold, so they would last longer. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a piece that tarnishes quickly. For me, jewellery does also need to be affordable. I’m clumsy and would find it heartbreaking to break or lose something that has cost a lot of money.

The range includes earrings – hoops, studs, cuffs and single ones – bangles, bracelets, rings and necklaces. There is even a vintage jewellery range.
I asked for the Wolf and Gypsy T Bar Necklace on an 18-inch chain. So, I was surprised when I opened the box to see a 16-inch wishbone pendant. (Please note: I didn’t point out the mistake, as I liked the necklace. I’m sure if I flagged this, it would have been rectified.) Most products come in a choice of silver or gold.
With broad shoulders and having big boob struggles, I can find it challenging to find a necklace that sits in the right place. I was worried that the shorter chain brings attention to the wrinkles that have started to appear in my neck as I enter the wrong end of my 30’s. Now I’ve mentioned it, I’m sure you can spot it too. Regardless of this, I love it!
The necklace has a simple clap fastening. It is comfortable and catches minimal strands of my super long hair throughout the day. I have even worn the necklace to bed, as I forgot I had it on. There were no irritations, rubbing, or a green neck – which I have had before from other jewellery brands.
