We tucked into:

Bottomless Thai prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce (yes, bottomless. What a time to be alive).
Chilli squid – crispy, tender, and packing a peppery punch. Drenched it in that sweet chilli dip like the absolute sauce goblins we are.
For mains, I went all in with the Crispy Duck Pad Kaprao – served with jasmine rice and absolutely loaded with flavour. Garlic, chilli, oyster sauce, sugar snap peas and fresh basil. It was blooming spicy, but we couldn’t stop eating it.
My partner tried the Spicy Southern Style stir-fry – beef marinated in a heady mix of lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric, Krachai, green peppercorns and red chillies. It’s a dish that’s not for the faint-hearted, with a spice level that might make you break a sweat. Honestly, I thought he might spontaneously combust halfway – but he’s a lot tougher than me!

The Mango & Passionfruit Mai Thai – is fruity, fun, and far too easy to drink.
A classic Zombie – it came with a warning sign (and rightly so). Dark and light rum, pineapple and lime – strong enough to raise the dead.

It’s easy to access, has parking, and offers free WiFi. While it’s not in the heart of the action, getting into the city centre is easy. Ubers cost around £12, making it a hassle-free option if you don’t fancy navigating buses or finding parking in Oxford’s narrow, historic streets.
