On a recent staycation in Teignmouth, I discovered Rock Bottom. It’s actually hard to miss it; with an outdoor speaker, you can hear it before you see it. Alongside the funky decor and neon lights, it’s a feast for foodies and cocktail enthusiasts.

Rock Bottom Teignmouth Menu

Rock Bottom bar exudes a friendly, fun atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The décor is quirky yet cosy, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed evening with friends or a cheeky midweek treat. And the best part? Happy Hour with 2-for-1 cocktails! Trust me, it’s worth going just for these!

The Rock Bottom restaurant menu is a tantalising mix of tempting offerings. We couldn’t resist diving in. Here’s what we tried (and boxed up to take home as the portions were huge):

  • Heisenburger: This is no ordinary fried chicken burger. Cream cheese, jalapeño slaw, and hot honey. The flavours hit all the right notes – sweet, spicy, creamy, and oh-so-satisfying.
  • Tuco Taco: Three soft-shell tacos loaded with fried chicken, spring onion, hot honey, pink onions, and coriander. These beauties were a flavour fiesta in every bite. I loved these!
  • Bang Bang Fried Chicken Fries: Fries topped with sweet and sour sauce, spring onion, and sesame. They’re messy, indulgent, and downright irresistible. We were fighting over the last bite.
  • NYC Fries: Picture this: crispy fries smothered in cheese sauce, pastrami, mustard, and pickles. It’s like a deli sandwich in fry form, and we’re not mad about it.
  • Sticky Korean BBQ Ribs: These ribs were the only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark, as there wasn’t much meat on the bones. The sticky sauce, spring onions, and salted peanuts created a combination with Mike licking his fingers.

Rock Bottom Teignmouth Prices

You might expect to pay a pretty penny for all the flavour-packed food and expertly crafted cocktails. However, it was refreshingly reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. You’ll get a bang for your buck here.

Our food came to £57. However, there was a special offer for 20% off on a Sunday night.

It’s clear from the online buzz that Rock Bottom is quickly becoming a local favourite. Even on a quiet Sunday night in January, food delivery orders were constantly flying out the door.

Rock Bottom Brunch

One of the exciting offers at Rock Bottom is the bottomless brunch menu. Each option is named after a famous person, starting with Chris Martin, which includes mocktails and soft drinks; Amy Winehouse with Prosecco, wine and drafts; Johnny Depp with cocktails; or the Prince of Darkness with more choice of drinks. All options include a meal from the Rock Bottom menu.
