My jewellery has to be delicate. I’m not one to wear chunky pieces. It needs to be classic, simple and easy to wear. I’m clumsy and would find it heart-breaking for the clasp to snap or lose something that has cost a lot of money.
Years ago, I gave up buying “cheap” products, preferring sterling silver or white gold, so they would last longer. There’s nothing worse than falling in love with a piece that tarnishes quickly. For me, jewellery does also need to be affordable. Which is what lead me to Carat London.
Now that restrictions are lifting here in Wales, we can dress up and have nights out again. Even if we do need to use our COVID pass to get in nightclubs. I usually choose 18-inch necklaces. It can be challenging to get a necklace that sits in the right place. I worry that shorter chains bring attention to the wrinkles that have started to appear in my neck or that a long one will get lost in my ample bust.

Looking through the beautiful designs, it was so hard to pick just one. It was challenging to make a decision. After agonising over which one, I made my choice. The Cosmo Necklace. When I unwrapped it out of the beautiful presentation box, the first thing I noticed was how shiny it was.
The sterling silver necklace is a layered chain with a star pendant and teardrop longer string. They are so glitzy they look like diamonds. It is adjustable, so you can fit it to your decolletage, outfit and style. However, you need to remember to take it off before bed, as it will tangle. As it is refined and dainty. The elegant design can be worn for special events or general day wear when you need a bit of glitz.

The website is straightforward to navigate. From ordering to the delivery, the process was seamless. The items are shipped to your home. I got regular – but not annoying – updates of when I should expect the delivery.
Carat* London Returns
To make a return on your online order, you have 28 days from the date your parcel is signed for. So, you have plenty of time if you change your mind. Rings can also be resized, and there is even a repair service.
The best things come in small packages
Carat London United Kingdom is right up my street and fits with my taste. I have my eyes on a few pieces, especially the matching Nova Drop Carat* London Earrings. I’ll have to drop some not-so-subtle hints to my boyfriend.
