Ivan the Irresistible

Ivan, our rescue dog, arrived from Bosnia in December 2020. He didnโ€™t eat or drink for the first 5 days that he was with us and was shut down. After that, he had one meal a day, which was eaten in the middle of the night. When my partner and I were fast asleep. He has come a long way since then but still has some eating quirks. Ivan has two meals a day in a slow feeder as he now tries to inhale it. He will only eat the food if we are in another room.

I try to eat well and wanted to make sure Ivan has all that he needs too. I have tried him on different foods. Eating the same meals as us โ€“ meat, fish, vegetables and rice. He loves sweet potatoes! I have also given him raw food, which he also enjoys. However, I was forgetting to take it out of the freezer early enough to defrost. All of this was topped with some dry dog food.

All About Tails

Tails.com is a subscription service. After taking a short survey, a tailor-made unique recipe is prepared for your dog. You will be asked about your dog’s details, such as breed, weight, activity level, age and what flavours they love. It was great to see options for helping to put on or lose weight, grain intolerance and wanting a shinier coat. They make food your dog loves.

I’m interested in trying Tails dog food, but I’m not sure which flavor to get. Any recommendations?” or which is the best dry dog food ?

    1. The wet food has about 15 different flavours. I think Ivan likes the variety. The dry food is created especially for your dog, with everything they need for great digestion and a healthy coat.
