Oh yes, it is… and then some. If you like your festive theatre with a side of sparkle, a wink you definitely weren’t meant to catch, and jokes that sail gloriously over the kids’ heads (while the adults snort into their mulled wine), then Big Pembs Panto is very much your lamp to rub.

Pantomime Milford Haven
I’ve discovered what might be the UK’s best-kept theatrical secret. We found ourselves laughing so hard our faces hurt. Of course, I was loud, proud and slightly hoarse from shouting “HE’S BEHIND YOU”.
This year’s Aladdin is everything you want from a panto and a fair bit more besides. It’s bold, cheeky, gloriously camp and packed tighter than Widow Twankey’s laundry basket. From the moment the curtain goes up, you’re swept into a riot of colour, comedy and chaos that knows exactly what it’s doing – and does it with a knowing grin.
Big Pembs Panto Cast
Let’s start with the Dame, because frankly, all roads lead there. Drew Baker’s Widow Twankey doesn’t just steal scenes – he runs off with them, changes wigs, and comes back for an encore. The costumes alone deserve their own round of applause (and possibly planning permission). It’s classic Dame energy: outrageous, flirtatious, lovingly inappropriate and delivered with impeccable comic timing.
Audience favourite Wishee Washee, played by Rhys Williams, is an absolute menace – in the best possible way. Mischief-making, fast-talking and brimming with energy, he’s the kind of character who could read the back of a takeaway menu and still get a standing ovation. The chemistry between Twankey and Wishee Washee is panto gold, with banter that crackles and lands every single time.
Jason Tsoutsas and Meighan Dandeneau bring genuine warmth to Aladdin and Jasmine, grounding the madness with heartfelt vocals and a romance you can actually root for. Their performances add that all-important emotional centre – proof that beneath the gags, there’s real heart here.
Every great panto needs a villain you can boo with your whole chest, and Tom Dyer’s Abanazar is deliciously wicked. He’s the sort you love to hate, prompting hisses, boos and children absolutely losing their minds. Job very much done!
Special mention has to go to Gareth Thomas, who swaps the rugby pitch for panto mayhem with charm, confidence and infectious enthusiasm. It’s joyful seeing a Welsh icon embrace the madness – and the audience absolutely laps it up.
Throw in sassy, show-stopping vocals from the Spirit of the Ring, Holly-Mae Meadoes, a brilliant double act in Sergeant Tik and Constable Tok, dazzling effects, and a magic carpet that really does take flight, and you’ve got yourself a full-throttle festive spectacular.
The Boulevard Theatre
The Boulevard Theatre is the perfect setting for panto magic, and its intimate layout really comes into its own with a production like this. There genuinely isn’t a bad seat in the house – whether you’re right up close or further back, you feel part of the action from start to finish. The cast play to the whole room, pulling the audience into the chaos, the comedy and the call-and-response moments that make panto so special.
That closeness adds to the atmosphere, too; you can see every raised eyebrow, cheeky grin, and perfectly timed double entendre, making the whole experience feel immersive, inclusive, and wonderfully lively.
The Big Pembs Panto Tickets
If you’re searching for the best panto, look no further! This is pantomime in Milford Haven at its absolute finest – a high-flying, wish-granting, belly-laughing triumph. Rub that lamp. Book the tickets. And get ready to shout your lungs out. Oh, yes, you are.
It’s probably one of the most affordable pantos too. Tickets are £18 each or £16 for over 65s and students. Family tickets can also be purchased for £62, admitting four. (Plus a booking fee). For 3 hours – including the interval – of non-stop fun!
Running until 31 December 2025, this is exactly the kind of night out that reminds you why panto is such a beloved British tradition. It’s cheeky without being crass, family-friendly with just enough innuendo to keep the grown-ups entertained, and overflowing with festive joy.

If you know when you’d like to travel, try to book as soon as possible. Prices rise as you get closer to the travel date and are usually displayed per room rather than per person. However, there is a vast array to accommodate all budgets.
