With the third series nearly upon us, Bridgerton fever is about to ramp up. Whilst we wait for it to drop on Netflix, you can visit many of the Bridgerton filming locations in England. Including Bristol, Bath, London and Yorkshire. If you’ve ever asked where was Bridgerton filmed, look no further.

Bridgerton Locations
Bridgerton gripped the world with its colourful costumes, raunchy romance and glamourous balls. The drama is set in Regency London. However, most of the filming was done in country houses and pretty parklands across England. If you want to travel and find a specific filming location, here’s what has been featured in the show.

Royal Crescent – Bath, Somerset
Royal Crescent is the first of the Bridgerton locations in Bath. The impressive landmark forms a sweeping crescent of 30 Grade I listed terraced houses. The houses are the most outstanding example of Georgian architecture in the UK. The setting is the outside of the Featherington family home.
Entry is £15.50 per person with options for seniors and families. The Crescent closes on Mondays. The last entry is 4.30pm.
Assembly Rooms – Bath, Somerset
You’ll marvel at the Georgian architecture in the Assembly Rooms. Here high society gathered to dance, play cards and sip tea. When it was completed in 1771, it was revered for its elegance. Several of the Bridgerton lavish ballroom scenes were filmed here.
Booking your visit is essential. It is free for National Trust Members or £10 per person for a guided tour. Pay and display car park at Charlotte Street in the City Centre.
Holburne Museum – Bath, Somerset
Lady Danbury’s estate is in the historic city of Bath. It became a central Bridgerton setting in Series 2 when Kate and Edwina Sharma moved in. The grounds were once enjoyed by Jane Austen. Holburne Museum has over 10,000 objects, including porcelain, silver, miniature portraits, books, Roman coins and Holburne family gems.
Entry is £12.50 per person, with options for seniors and families. There is also a pay and display car park for visitors.

Leigh Court – Bristol
In Bristol, Leigh Court was a key location for filming many of the ballroom scenes. The Grade II listed building is often used as a prestigious wedding venue. On-screen, we see The Princes’ Ballroom, the Ingenue Ballroom, and the Crawford Ballroom, where the characters are dancing to classical covers of Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish. The original mansion was built in 1588 and was demolished in 1812 when it was rebuilt. You can tour the building if you plan a conference, wedding or event.

Badminton House – Gloucestershire
Badminton House has been visited by several Kings and Queens throughout the centuries. The 17th Century estate is one of the most recognisable Bridgerton locations, used to film scenes set in the Duke of Hasting’s London home and the parlour of Clyvedon Castle.
The house and gardens are currently the family home of the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort. Private group tours can be booked for £30 per person and a minimum of 15 visitors. There are also three annual garden days from £5 per person, with ample free parking.
Hotels in Gloucester
Gloucester Robinswood Hotel
The 4-star Best Western Gloucester Robinswood Hotel is in a beautiful location. Not far from the Cotswolds or the Forest of Dean. Each room comes with free WiFi, and all guests get free parking. After your day at Badminton House, take a dip in the indoor pool. It’s even pet-friendly.
Wilton House Bridgerton – Salisbury, Wiltshire
Many of the gardens and staterooms of Wilton House pop up in every episode of Bridgerton. The Queen Charlotte throne room, where the ladies were presented, is just one example. Eagle-eyed viewers will recognise the same room from season four of The Crown. Where Princess Diana dances in her leotard. The house was given to the Pembroke family in 1544, and the Earl and Countess of Pembroke still live here today.
Entry is £18.50 per person with options for concession and families. You can also see the grounds only for £7.75 per person. There is also ample free parking. English Heritage Members get 2-for-1 on tickets.

Red Lion Hotel
Did you know the Red Lion is the most popular pub name in the UK? The 4-star Best Western Red Lion Hotel is just 5 minutes away from Salisbury Cathedral, putting you in a great position to explore the city. Hatfield House – Hertfordshire
Hatfield House also plays a big part in the Netflix drama, with its library, exterior, West Garden and Marble Hall used for various scenes. The grand estate has a historic and protected parkland. It was built by Robert Cecil on the grounds where Queen Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood.
It is open to visitors for £24 per person. Children and family tickets are also available. The Gardens are open from Easter, Wednesday to Sunday, and the House is open from May to September, Thursday to Sunday. Entry to the Stable Yard and parking is free.
North Mymms Park – Hertfordshire
Another of the Bridgerton locations, set in several hundred acres of picturesque countryside, is North Mymms Park. It is one of Britain’s finest estates. It was used in Bridgerton in the episode called Shock and Delight. Today, it is an event and wedding venue with accommodation for guests.

Welwyn Garden City Homestead Court Hotel

Filming Locations in Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire is a county north of London, bordered by Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. There is much heritage to explore, including Ascott House, Woburn Abbey, and Houghton House.
Wrest Park – Silsoe, Bedfordshire
The majestic grandeur of Wrest Park in Bedfordshire is the home of the orangerie at Aubrey Hall. Its sprawling lawns and ornate fountains are also used for more shots of Aubrey Hall Gardens. The enchanting setting, steeped in centuries of heritage, seamlessly intertwined with the romance and intrigue of the storyline. As the property is looked after by the English Heritage, it’s easy to plan a visit.

Ranger’s House – Greenwich, London
Also known as the Bridgeton House Greenwich. The exterior of the Bridgerton’s home is Ranger’s House in Greenwich. The elegant Georgian villa is on the boundary of Greenwich Park. Over 700 works of art are displayed across the gorgeous interiors. Including medieval sculptures, ornate jewellery and exemplary French tapestries.
Entry is £12.50 per person, with options for seniors and families. Members of CADW or Historic Scotland get 50% off. English Heritage Members get free admission.
English Heritage Membership

Old Royal Naval College – Greenwich, London
Fans were convinced that one of the Bridgerton season 2 filming locations is outside Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. And they were right! Is it one of the Bridgerton filming locations Greenwich? To highlight these, a Bridgerton esq event was hosted in the Painted Hall, where ticket holders could enjoy cocktails and themed dances.
The Reform Club – Pall Mall, London
The Reform Club, one of the Bridgerton locations, appears as the gentleman’s club where Anthony and Simon meet. It is a prestigious private members club founded in 1836. Notable members include Sir David Attenborough, Baroness Boothroyd, Winston Churchill and the Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
You can visit, eat, drink or stay the night at The Reform Club as a visitor if you know a member.
Lancaster House – West End, London
A stone’s throw from Buckingham Palace and St James’ Palace is Lancaster House. Which was used to film some of the interior shots of Queen Charlotte’s parlour, hallway and bathroom. Originally, it was known as York House, then Stafford House. Queen Elizabeth II had her coronation banquet here in 1953.
Unfortunately, it rarely opens to the public but sometimes takes part in the annual Open City event. The venue can be hired for dinners, conferences and receptions. However, there’s a 360 tour on their website.
Syon House, Brentford, London
The house has been in the present owner’s family, the 12th Duke of Northumberland, for more than 400 years. The Print Room at Syon House was Simon’s father’s study, and the State Dining Room was used for Queen Charlotte’s dinner with her husband, King George III. Syon House has also been used for filming Downton Abbey, Killing Eve, Harlots and the Great British Bake Off.
Entry is £14 per person, with options for seniors and families. If you just want to visit the garden and conservatory, it is £9 per person. Free parking is available. The house and garden do close for the winter.
West Wycombe Park – Barnet, Hertfordshire
While Wrotham Park serves as the primary setting for Bridgerton’s Aubrey Hall, it’s not the sole location used for the family’s country estate. West Wycombe Park Estate serves as a secondary location for Aubrey Hall, featuring some of the home’s interiors, including Anthony’s bedroom. Additionally, it doubles as the Crane Estate, visited by Colin Bridgerton and Marina Thompson. The estate’s picturesque grounds also provide the backdrop for Anthony’s midseason escapade in a lake.
The house is 30 minutes from central London. It is not open to the public; however, it is available for exclusive and private events.

There are six hotels in London to choose from. Millennium Hotels offers spacious bedrooms, fitness centres, restaurants and bars. The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington, part of Millennium Hotels and Resorts, is a traditional 4-star hotel in London. Britannia Hotels
Britannia Hotels in London have rooms from £55 per night. The hotel offers excellent value for money with spacious en-suite bedrooms, TV’s and tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary WiFi sessions are included as well as low-cost parking. Even pets are allowed to stay for a small additional charge. Tip – ask for a room on one of the upper floors, as the views of the city are spectacular.
Stowe Park – Buckingham, Buckinghamshire
Another of the Bridgerton locations is the parkland at Stowe Park was used to depict the Vauxhall Ball. There are more than 1000 acres to be explored. Follow the footpaths, secluded woods and a deer park. In the distance, you’ll see Stowe Castle. You’ll also stumble across Bourbon Tower, Boycott Pavilions, Conduit House and Wolfe’s Obelisk.
Entry is £14.30 per person, with children and family prices. National Trust members are free. Don’t forget to use TopCashBack when purchasing your tickets. Visiting the parkland only is free of charge. Parking is also free.
Ivinghoe Beacon – Dunstable, Buckinghamshire
Aubrey Hall, depicted as expansive in the series, extends its fictional domain to include Ivinghoe Beacon, a prominent natural landmark located in Buckinghamshire. It is located in an area of scenic countryside of wildflower-rich grasslands and ancient woodlands spread across rolling hills.
Ivinghoe Beacon and the surrounding area are managed by the National Trust as part of their Ashridge Estate. There are several car parks across the area, including a large tarmac car park lying south of Ivinghoe Beacon, off Beacon Road.
RAF Halton – Buckinghamshire
The Bridgerton house interior was filed at RAF Halton, one of the UK’s largest Royal Air Force stations. Here, scenes featuring the grand hall, stairs, hallway and smoking room were filmed. It was also used to film some of the Featherington interiors and the wedding reception for Daphne and the Duke.
As it is used by serving personnel, you can’t currently visit RAF Halton. However, there are usually select open days with guided tours of the impressive building planned throughout the year.

Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club – Berkshire
In the second episode of Season 2, titled “Off to the Races”, Berkshire Polo Club takes centre stage. This Windsor-based athletic club serves as the backdrop for the Bridgerton-Sharma excursion to the race track throughout the episode. Although you won’t spot individuals adorned in top hats or empire waist gowns at the present-day Berkshire Polo Club, it remains a cherished destination among British high society, including Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (prior to Megxit, naturally).
Windsor Great Park – Crown Estate, Windsor
Windsor Great Park sets the scene for numerous romantic encounters between Anthony and Kate. As one of the Bridgerton locations you can visit in season 2, it serves as the backdrop for their charming first meeting atop their horses. This expansive country park not only portrays the woodlands surrounding Aubrey Hall but also hosts the electrifying scene of their lively pall-mall game. Perhaps amidst the vast 4,800 acres of lush greenery, you’ll uncover your own tale of true love.
Open daily, with free entry. However, there is a charge for parking.
The Historic Dockyard Chatham – Kent
With Georgian buildings and cobbled streets, The Historic Dockyard Chatham was used to portray the poorer streets of London. It is in the scenes where Lady Featherington takes Marina to the slums. As well as the setting for Simon Basset and Will’s many boxing matches. The location also appears in Call the Midwife and Sherlock Holmes. Thanks to its role in historical events, like the Spanish Armada and Cold War, it’s one of Britain’s most important Royal Dockyards.

Theatre Royal Brighton – East Sussex
The elegant auditorium of the Theatre Royal Brighton is used as the concert hall. The theatre is Grade II listed and is one of the country’s oldest and most distinguished theatres. Thousands of famous names have graced the stage since 1807, performing musicals, plays and operas.
You can book tickets to various shows throughout the year. Saturdays in the summer, the theatre offers backstage tours from £7.50 per person.
Painshill Park – Cobham, Surrey
Throughout the Bridgerton series, a lot of time is spent in parks and gardens – promenading. One of the Bridgerton locations and most elegant to feature is Painshill Park. The 18th Century landscaped garden has a lake, gothic temple, curved bridges and winding paths.
Entry is £12.10 per person with options for concessions and families. Parking is free for visitors.
Hampton Court Palace – East Molesey, Surrey
The exterior of Hampton Court Palace was used as Queen Charlotte’s palace. It is probably one of the most famous buildings in the UK. As the former home of King Henry VIII. Visitors can see the gardens and maze, the great hall and the kitchen. Plus, the haunted gallery where his 5th wife, Catherine Howard, broke free of her guards and ran along the corridor to plead her innocence. If you know the rhyme, you’ll know she was beheaded at the Tower of London.

Bridgerton Castle Howard – York, North Yorkshire
After Daphne and Simon’s wedding, the couple moves to the fictional Clyvedon Castle. Its façade, entrance hall and grounds are actually Castle Howard. Construction of Castle Howard took over 100 years, starting in 1699. Today, there is a wealth of art, architecture and history to explore, with over 1000 acres of woodland walks and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Coneysthorpe Village – North Yorkshire
The village of Coneysthorpe is another of the Bridgerton locations and doubles as Clyvedon Village, the Duke of Hastings family estate. It is 4 miles from Castle Howard. The beautiful village has large green and stone houses.
