When asking around, I was recommended to eat in The Station by so many people. It was awful! It was the second weekend in January, so naturally quieter. However, the food took about 40 minutes to come. The burger bun was burnt, and the chips were cold. The mixed grill was also lukewarm, with cold chips and peas. I didn’t complain because I couldn’t be bothered. I ate what I could just to fill a hole. It’s also a chain restaurant, so the food was designed to be chucked on the grill or in the deep-fat fryer and pumped out fast. Please avoid it unless you are desperate. However, a great spot for drinks and a cosy spot for dogs to curl up!

Getting to Colwyn Bay
Even if you don’t drive, you can get to Colwyn Bay by train with Transport for Wales. My hometown of Cardiff is connected to Colwyn Bay by a direct train, and it takes 4 hours. It is also connected to lines from London, Manchester, Chester, Birmingham, Llandudno and Holyhead.
