Wave goodbye to Excessmas

It is the most wonderful time of year… or, at least, it is supposed to be.  Yet, for many, Christmas can equal excess expectations and extreme expense or indulgence.  Has it all become a bit too ‘extra’ for most of us?

Cardiff Series: City of Arcades Day

Did you know that Cardiff is the City of Arcades? A little-known fact about Cardiff is that it has the biggest concentration of Victorian, Edwardian, and modern-day indoor shopping arcades in Britain. The Castle Arcade runs opposite Cardiff Castle and features a beautiful gallery with a wooden second-floor balcony and footbridges. One of the longer of Cardiff’s famous Victorian arcades, it is also one of the city’s only two-level shopping arcades other than Cardiff Central Market.

I’ve been shortlisted! House 21 Blogger Awards Nomination

When I started my blog in May 2018, I never intended to get any type of recognition for it. I started because whenever I met clients or professionals who knew about my role in marketing, they would ask what they needed to do to drive more traffic to their website. I would always recommend blogging. We all know there’s a bit more to it than just writing an article – that in itself can be challenging for some. I thought I have to practise what I preach, and it just became a creative outlet for me. I use it as somewhere for the articles that magazines and online publications did not ‘print’ to go, as well as my adventures and vacant ramblings.
